2022 started with a Covid-19 Omicron variant wave- not the best of all signs. With our persistence in getting everyone vaccinated, the end is still not in sight.
It will be a long fight to the end of this Covid-19 pandemic. While the outlook is not at all positive, we must not falter. Only when we are united, our economy and systems will be stronger. The travel industry is steadily regaining its momentum and must not be a force to be reckoned with. Our travel industry workers have faced so much in the past 2 years that would have been unimaginable before. I am hopeful that the rest of 2022 will bring in good news to us all.

The number of countries that have adopted vaccines are also giving an extremely positive outlook.
Countries with Vaccinations Ongoing
It is my personal hope that more countries will adopt the vaccines. Existing countries with vaccination operations should also consider the use of a booster shot for its citizens. In addition, I would also urge countries to help one another in this time of distress so that the travel industry can be restored to normalcy.
Vaccinated Travel Lanes (VTL) have sprung up in the sunny island of Singapore and it is my wish to make full use of the VTL to travel and bring good visits and eats to all of you. I will be looking forward to my first trip in 2 years and shall let all of you have a peek into my journey when the time is ripe. A mere pandemic will not bring the travel industry to its knees, for I will contribute my small part to it. Tough times do not last, tough people do.
